About this Collection
This collection emerged from hard places as a way to process my emotions. I began grabbing items and materials that excited me, and started putting them together - configuring and reconfiguring - until a mini piece of a whimsical galaxy emerged.
Each piece is punctuated by phrases that validate and support the feelings and experiences I was navigating. I wanted to take my struggles and make them amusing, joyful, and bright. This is how I decided not to let them win. Each piece features Swarovski crystals because character is formed in the midst of struggle, only adding to our sparkle when we emerge stronger.

Pieces range from around 2 inches to 5 inches on the largest piece, and are approximately .5 inch to 1 inch deep.

All pieces come ready to hang. The wood slices have a sawtooth hanger, the wood panels can be hung on their inner frame.

Shipping is included in the price. I will work to ship all orders within 5-7 business days.

All pieces are mixed media on wood. I used acrylic paint, oil pastels, gel pens and watercolor, along with collage planets created from fluid acrylics. All pieces include Swarovski crystals in various colors and sizes. Some include vintage collage elements and acrylic or resin charms.

The sides are painted white, except for the wood slice pieces which are painted to match the background color. Mediums that needed to be sealed are varnished. Some pieces have a glossier finish than others due to needing a thicker varnish to seal oil pastels or other mediums used. All pieces are signed and dated on the back.
